We have assembled a comprehensive list of the settings for nearly every material we offer for cricut silhouette and brother scan n cut machines.
Oracal 951 vinyl cut settings.
It is oracal s top of the line cast vinyl.
Every machine and blade is a bit different and materials are measured in thousandths of an inch so this document should be used as a general guideline and we highly recommend performing small test cuts prior to committing to cutting full designs.
It does ok with nice straight lines but when you cut out a font with any swirls or curves to it it shreds the vinyl to pieces because it is soooooooo much thinner than the 651 vinyl.
Vinyl matte blade 1 speed 5 force 10 blade 3 speed 3 pressure 2.
I do i use 951 most of the time.
Anybody found any good settings for blade depth pressure and all that when cutting the oracal 951 vinyl.
651 is oracal s top of the line calendered vinyl it is less expensive 5mil thicker is intended for a flatter surface and has a 4 to 6 year outdoor life.
I ve ruined a bit of oracal 751 off and on trying to find a good font and everything doing an in memory of type window sticker.
It conforms to compound curves has the longest outdoor life 10 to 12 years and doesn t shrink.
2 mil surface finish.

I can t seem to get the needle depth and the pressure right it cuts through both layers so i know needle depth is too much right and then as it cuts it wants to lift these pieces right off.
